Don’t worry. All the used cars are graded by our professional mechanical engineers to control the quality. With the Vehicle Grading System, in conjunction with the written descriptions and photos, you can gain a clear overview of the vehicles in our stock.

  • 5. Excellent condition: Near new car condition
  • 4. Good condition: With some small scratches and tiny dents
  • 3. Good condition: With some scratches and dents, need to be fixed.

2. ORDERING

Q1. Where can I choose my interested car?
It is simple and easy! Go to our home page and Search!
Q2. I didn’t see my interested car on the list, what should I do?
Don’t worry. We will try our best to help you find your required car. The only thing you need to do is contact us for a special request by filling the Special Request Form and fax or email it back to us.
Q3. What if the vehicles I ordered are no longer available?
We operate on a first come first serve basis. Whoever accomplishes the payment first, becomes the new owner of the vehicle. If your choice of vehicle sold out, don’t worry. In this case, you can choose either accept our offer of replacement of the same model, grade, and year or better or refund your money.

3. ABOUT TOTAL COST

Q1. I don’t understand the price on your website, what does it include?
The price showed on our website is the FOB price for all our Japan stock. For your free quotation, please email us. You will be soon contacted by us with a pro forma invoice that contains appropriate freight charge and extra charges if applicable. For clearance charges and customs duties, please contact your local authorities for more information on local regulations.

Q2. What cost does warranty cover?

Only covers for marine warranty in case of vessel sinking , fire, or loss of cargo. Dose not cover damage or theft during transit.

Q3. What does the term JAAI stands for?
In some countries like Tanzania, Kenya (JAVIC), Mauritius, Bangladesh, etc, the government requires JAAI inspection certificate for used vehicles to be imported to the countries. JAAI (Japan Auto Appraisal Institute (JAAI) is a certification of the quality of the vehicle approved by the JAAI. Without JAAI inspection certificate, the consignee will be required to pay a penalty. We will arrange this Inspection certificate at an extra cost before shipment.

5. SHIPPING / TRADE TERMS

Q1. How can I know about the shipping schedule?
We, PROSPER CO., LTD. will arrange booking for you. We will inform you the departure and arrival date of our shipment within 3 weeks from the date of confirmation via email However,you should contact your local clearing agent or shipping agent to confirm the arrival date before you collect your vehicle.
Q2. How can I know whether and when my vehicle is sail?
We will send you shipping notification indicating the estimated time of departure (ETD) and estimated time of arrival (ETA) as soon as your vehicle has been booked for shipment. it usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks to secure the booking of the ship.
Q3. Which kinds of documents will I receive?
Once the vessel has departed from the port of origin, we will send:
  1. the B/L (Bill of Lading),
  2. Commercial Invoice
  3. Other necessary documents(depend on the country regulation)
Q4. When will I receive my shipping documents?
We will send you the shipping documents via express courier (DHL etc) soon after the vessel with your vehicle leaves Japan.
Q5. Can I track the documents once they have been sent?
Our courier has tracking system. You don’t need to worry about it.
Q6. When can I receive the invoice?
Once you have sent your order online, fax or by email, you will receive a proforma invoice with a full quotation within one business day.
Q7. How can I process the customs clearance?
Custom clearance is your responsibility when the vehicle arrives at the port. You should find clearing agent in your country.
Q8. Why should I tell you my physical address?
Your physical address is a required by shipping companies and courier companies. Certain ports, such as Durban, and regions around the world require the consignee to have a physical address on the bill of lading. please make sure the correct consignee details are provided. If there is no physical address where you live, please send us your street or building name with the nearest village or town name together with the P.O. Box address.
Q9. How long does it take before shipment?
According to the port of destination and season, shipping companies have different schedules and the booking time. Approximately four weeks to book the shipment for your vehicle is considered normally. The sailing time lasts usually from 2 to 5 weeks, depending on the port of destination and season.

Please consult with your local clearing agent as soon as you found a car from our website. They will quote you extra cost after landing at the port, and also give you all the instructions to register in your country.
Q3. How can I find a clearing agent?
You can either choose your own reputable clearing agent in your local area or contact our preferred clearing agents in your region.
Q4. When can I receive my vehicle?
Please contact your clearing agent and confirm arrival date of the vessel.

Q1. Do you provide spare parts?
We recommend you check your local spare parts dealers first, and then contact our parts department and we will arrange a quotation for you.
Q2. Can I order by FAX, phone or email?
Sure, FAX, phone or email is all accepted ways.
Q3. What do you mean by "Final Destination"?
"Final Destination" indicates the country where you will register your vehicle.
Q4. What is “Consignee”?
The consignee is the person whose name is listed on the Bill of Lading and entitled to receive delivery of the goods.
Q5. What does "C&F" mean?
C&F means Cost (of the vehicle) and Freight.
This does not include insurance, or any other charges.
Q6. What does "FOB" mean?
FOB means Free On Board. It is the cost of the vehicle only. Fees such as freight, insurance, or any other charges is not included in FOB price.
Q7. What does “CIF” mean?
CIF stands for Cost Insurance and Freight. This includes insurance.
Q8. What is "RO-RO Shipment"?
RO-RO (Roll on-Roll off) can offer a cost advantage over container shipments. This kind of RO-RO vessels is designed solely to carry cars and vehicles and do not carry any general cargo or bulk commodities. All vehicles are secured in their respective bays and are isolated from the elements during the sea passage. Please note that Ro-Ro shipment is not available for every destination.
Q9. What is Prosper's claim clause?

Claim and Clause
  1. Prosper Co.ltd. shall not be liable for.

    Any interior damages that are judged as minor & invisible damages. (including cigarette burns, stains and any cuts) Any exterior damages that are judged as minor & invisible damages. (including scratches, tiny dents, holes and small rust) Any consumable parts including battery, oil, fuel, air conditioning gas, etc. Any missing or damaged interior equipments(including without limitation shift knobs, head rests,spare tires,tool kits, remote controls)

  2. No claim shall be accepted in the case of,

    the Value of vehicle( FOB amount ) purchased is below US$1,500 Any damages can be repaired within US$300. (the customer shall bear minor repairing less than US$300 per vehicle ); *The customer dose not notify any claims in writing by E-mail or fax within 5 days after the arrival of the vehicle at the final destination ( specified on the B/L )
